Meeting planners appreciate the variety of facilities in the area, from resort-like settings with on-site golf courses, to “just off the highway” locations and downtown settings with plenty of dining, nightlife and shopping within easy walking distance.

The largest of the Fox Cities is Appleton, home to a large downtown convention hotel and entertainment district. Meeting planners and attendees enjoy the “walkability” downtown Appleton offers during a convention. nightlife abounds in the area, with live music at a number of clubs. in fact, appleton was just named wisconsin’s most walkable city and one of the top 11 most walkable cities in the u.s. by Prevention magazine.

The Fox Cities are Wisconsin’s shopping place. home to the Fox River Mall, the second largest in the state, and local retailers in vibrant downtown Appleton and historic downtown Neenah, the area is a shopper’s dream come true.

Along with great shopping, the Fox Cities are home to diverse cultural offerings and excellent restaurants. the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center features top-notch Broadway shows and many local and regional performers. Fox Cities Stadium fills the summer with minor league baseball, and a spectacular children’s museum, planetarium and earth science museum provide hours of entertainment and education. Many of our attractions are available for meetings, dinners and receptions.

Located in the heart of northeastern Wisconsin’s “paper valley,” and home to a number of Fortune 100 manufacturers, the Fox Cities are a three-hour drive north of Chicago. Outagamie County Regional Airport (atw) is served by Northwest, Delta, United and Midwest airlines, ensuring easy air access on more than 30 flights per day.
